Today is a milestone day in my LinkedIn interview series! 💫
After interviewing over 20 mentors, leaders, and experts, I'm super excited because today marks 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧-𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰. 🤩
(Well, I'm not sure if I should call it a podcast just yet, but it sure felt like one! 😇)
And guess who was in the hot seat? None other than Nir Soni, our very own Gen Z finance enthusiast and Internal Audit Manager. 🤩
Nir's insights were like a breath of fresh air. He's young, talented, and absolutely loves finance.
So, let's dive into the highlights!

✅𝑰𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒔𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒌𝒆𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒂 𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆.
Learn to invest, learn how the stock market works, and how tax works. Learn to manage your money well.
❇𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞
In the noise of constant learning, events, activities, travel, and friends - it's easy to lose focus from gaining real knowledge from college - but if you are willing to go the extra mile for your career - college can be a stepping stone for your career growth.
Of course along with good teaching in college - the role of you dedicating your skills in practice matters too. Nir made sure to make his college Narayana Business School's professors proud. 😇
❇𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬
Not all Gen Z want to be part of their father's business. One of the reasons might be to have their ambition to have their own startup and turn it into a business - But Nir made sure to learn all the wisdom from his father's business and put it into implementation in his current career.
Any business you get into - requires communication, negotiation, planning, and effective execution - not just learn and observe - but be expert at it.
✴𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤-𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞
Job, business - all are part of life. Spending time with your friends and family is what matters at the end - make sure you focus on better time management too.
✴In the movie Raees of Shahrukh khan - there is a famous dialogue - "𝑲𝒐𝒊 𝑫𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒉𝒂 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒂 𝒏𝒉𝒊 𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒂" - Nir Soni truly believed in it - he not only helped his father in his business, but he made sure to shine in his career too. - He continues to make waves.
