Why meeting agenda is important? How does staying on track helps in project management? - You all know that right? You definitely don't want to reschedule the meeting for the same agenda.

After all, you have a life other than meetings to live onπŸ˜…. Ok ok I get it - I went off the track...

Without going off the track again, Let me start with techniques that can help you manage effective meetings:

 

 

  1. Invite Relevant Attendees - Can't stress enough on this :)

Invite only individuals with a direct stake in the meeting's objectives. This minimizes distractions and maximizes engagement from key decision-makers, subject matter experts, and critical stakeholders.

2. Timebox and Stick to the Schedule

Allocate specific time slots for each agenda item and strictly adhere to the allotted time. Starting and ending on time fosters a culture of punctuality and ensures that discussions remain focused.

3. Manage Disruptions - This can be tricky.

Proactively manage discussions that veer off-topic. Politely redirect the conversation back to the agenda and consider parking non-urgent topics for future discussions to maintain momentum.
